self-care
“Do not run faster than you have strength” (D&C 10:4) …Or in other words, do not run around with an empty cup.
You matter. Your health matters. Your happiness matters. When your physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual needs are met, you have the freedom to live as you please!
Everything in this section is simply meant to give you ideas and inspiration! I would not expect anyone to do everything I write about. I will be sharing things that have either worked for me in the past, are working for me now, or ideas I hope to implement in the future! And I’ll be the first to raise my hand and say that I’m not very good at taking care of myself. But I am trying, and want to get better at it because when I have taken the time to fill my cup, it has been absolute bliss serving my family with JOY!
“Self-care is not self-indulgence, it is self-preservation.” -Audre Lorde
