Every quote and poem that I include in any of my blog posts will be listed here for your convience, should you ever want to find it again.

And I would be delighted if you contributed some of your favorite quotes and poems in the comment sections as well!  We’re starting out small, but amazing things can happen over time.  Let’s build a beautiful collection together!

There’s nothing like a good quote to lift, motivate, and inspire you.  I love how just a simple one-liner can encapsulate an entire idea!  Of course not all these quotes are a single sentence, but they all hold a key to unlock a deeper part of you. 

When you find an awesome quote, do you like to post it on your mirror or vision board?  Do you keep a quote journal?  Do you enjoy good quotes, but don’t really care to write them down?  If I find a quote I like when on my phone, I will take a screen shot, and it’s a joy to scroll through my photos and stumble across it again. 

However you like consume your quotes is up to you!  There’s no right or wrong way to do it!  Whether you are looking for a quote for yourself, or one to share with others, I hope some of these are helpful to you.  Please share some of your favorites in the comments as well!  I am excited to see what you have to add!

Have you ever had a hard time expressing your emotions?  When putting your feelings to words, does it seem like you’re trying to take something that is 3D, and squish it down into something 2D?  Let’s face it; sometimes words alone don’t do it justice.  Yeah, they can get the basic idea across, but there always seems to be something missing.

For me, this is where poetry comes in.  Poetry brings words and feelings together, bringing back that 3D nature –much like music.  But with music, sometimes I get lost in the melodic tune, and lose the message being portrayed.  Where poetry is like a pure fountain of feelings being poured on my soul.  And when I write poetry, I feel successful in being able to portray my feelings properly, which satisfies my entire being.  

Whether portraying strong emotions, teaching a lesson, or simply providing comic relief, I love and want to share poems with you.  And I invite you to share your favorite poem(s) with me as well in the comments.  I know it will be a wonderful collection!  So make sure to scroll the comments for other gems that friends have shared!
